The KV Chamber’s Business Insider breakfast seminars have been conducted for decades. The seminar is our monthly effort to keep members informed on important public issues. These programs provide for discussion and debate on matters of public importance and features speakers knowledgeable in matters of the economy, industry, and good business practices in the Kennebec Valley Region.
The Chamber's Women's Network meets monthly to strengthen business relationships, hear topical speakers and develop leadership. Women's Network, It's all about business and building relationships! This event is usually held on the second Wednesday monthly, excluding July and August. Early Networking begins at 11:30 a.m., buffet lunch at noon, speaker 12:30 and adjourn 1:00 p.m.
The Chamber organizes free monthly networking receptions for members by pairing with host businesses. The host business pays a nominal fee to the Chamber and agrees to host the reception with food and drink in an acceptable venue. Attendance may range from 75 to 300. Business After Hours occur monthly on the fourth Wednesday of the month, 5-7:00 p.m.

The Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Augusta Downtown Alliance are excited to bring back The Color Dash 5K to downtown Augusta this year. The vision is to have 800 dashers running through historic downtown Augusta exposing them to the many businesses in the area. The total fundraising target is $10,000, to further their business community outreach. Funds will be used to offer resources to the business leaders both in downtown Augusta and throughout the Kennebec Valley. These funds are raised through promotion, educational seminars, community events, and by offering networking opportunities. The businesses that are a part of KVCC and ADA are key players in our local economy - by supporting them we are providing a future for our community. We strive to paint a positive picture of Augusta and the Kennebec Valley by bringing dashers into our community and letting them experience all we have to offer.
