Cyber Security Briefing for Businesses
LAST CHANCE TO REGISTER ~ REGISTRATION CLOSES MONDAY at NOON
There was such an overwhelming response in August to our Cyber Security/Best Practices event that we are pleased to provide this opportunity once again for Maine businesses. No walk-ins will be allowed at our 'live' event in Brunswick.
The United States Department of Homeland Security - in partnership with U.S. Senator Angus King's office and the Maine State Chamber of Commerce -will hold a free briefing on cyber security best practices for Maine businesses, on Tuesday, November 17th. DHS Northeast Cyber Security Advisor Michael Leking and U.S. Assistant Attorney Craig Wolff will give a thorough presentation on how to strengthen cyber-resilience in the face of potential cyber-attacks.
The briefing will run from 10 a.m. to noon. Oxford Networks has graciously offered to host the event in their Data Center at 14 Resilient Circle in Brunswick. The event is free, but pre-registration is required. Due to security purposes, walk-ins will not be permitted in Brunswick. All attendees will need to provide a photo ID. Register today as space is limited to 100 attendees at this location. Satellite locations will be provided, where you can see a live telecast of the program and even be able to submit questions but space is limited at those locations as well. For more detailed information about our speakers please go to www.mainechamber.org and click on the Cyber Security event link.
