Girls on the Run Mission ~ We inspire girls to
be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.

Staci Olson has been working with Girls on the Run-Maine since its inception in 2012.   In her role as Program Director, Staci helps to start new sites, recruit and train coaches and she is also the Race Director for the two Celebratory 5k events hosted by the council each year.  She has worked in multiple after school and non-profit settings and she obtained a Master's Degree in School Counseling where she developed a passion for self-esteem and empowerment opportunities for young girls.  Staci is constantly amazed by the generosity and dedication of the volunteers who deliver the program and is thrilled to be able to provide this unique opportunity to the girls in Maine.

Kari deLongpre is originally from Minnesota but has been on the move since 2006 with her husband, an Active Duty Naval Officer, and her two young daughters.  While living in Newport, Rhode Island, Kari coached with Girls on the Run for two seasons and this will be her second season coaching in Brunswick.  Over the seasons she has become passionate about the program's mission and core values. She is constantly amazed by the girls she coaches and while she knows they look to her as a role model, she hopes they know how much they teach her every day about compassion, gratitude and pure joy.

Please join us and welcome Staci Olson and Kari deLongpre from Girls on the Run.  RSVP to
