Singer and songwriter Jonathan Edwards will perform at Johnson Hall Performing Arts Center on Water Street in Gardiner at 6 p.m., Sunday Dec. 17.
While the Minnesota native, who now lives in Portland, may be best known for his 1970s hits “Sunshine” and “Shanty,” “This is one veteran performer who is neither grizzled nor nostalgic,” said a news release about the performance.
“I’ve been...doing what I do best, which is playing live in front of people. I’ve been concentrating on that and loving it,” Edwards said.
