The Kennebec Regional Development Authority (KRDA) is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a variety of responsibilities, takes pride in producing high-quality work, and wants to play a role in supporting the growth of Central Maine.
KRDA's mission is to develop and promote FirstPark – Central Maine's Most Connected Business Park. We work with businesses, municipalities, and community partners to attract investment, support business growth, and create opportunities that strengthen our region. As our Administrative Assistant, you will help ensure our office operates efficiently while supporting communications, marketing, and day-to-day administrative activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Executive Director.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, meeting materials, and other documents.
- Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems.
- Assist with scheduling meetings and coordinating calendars.
- Help coordinate board and committee meetings, including agendas and meeting materials.
- Manage office communications, including answering phones and welcoming visitors.
- Assist with maintaining KRDA's website and social media presence by sharing updates, events, and business success stories.
- Perform a variety of general office and administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who is:
- Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail.
- Friendly, professional, and confident communicating with a wide variety of people.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable using social media platforms for marketing and community engagement.
- Able to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.
- Positive, dependable, and eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
