Thomas College seeks a motivated professional to serve as Title III Grant Specialist. Reporting to the Title III Director, the Grant Specialist provides administrative support to key project activities in keeping with relevant federal and campus regulations, executes grant accountancy functions, and will represent Title III at relevant meetings and campus events.
The successful candidate will have experience with basic office and accounting procedures and process management; computer proficiency with Microsoft office applications; and strong organizational skills. A working knowledge of Financial Edge is preferred. The position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to respond effectively to dynamic situations involving students, faculty, and staff. A bachelor’s degree is required, with a concentration in accounting or finance preferred. Some evening and weekends required. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in non-profit accounting, various accounting software packages, and are proficient in use of integrated financial systems, preferably with Blackbaud’s Financial Edge. This is a 12-month, full-time position. Salary is contingent on grant funding with position currently funded through September 30, 2023.
