Thomas College is seeking a part-time (10-12 hours per week) temporary, COVID testing coordinator for the Spring 2022 semester. Coordination of testing will include: being trained for self-administered test observation, processing weekly tests, collecting all test tubes, validating that all consent forms are on file, creating and placing unique bar codes onto test tubes, packaging tubes according to standards provided by the testing company, preparing packages for shipping, coordinating with the courier service for transport and maintaining supplies. The position will also be responsible for assisting/developing the testing schedule for faculty, staff and students and following up with those that are not in compliance. This position will report to the VP for Student Affairs and will work closely with the Director of Health Services.
The ideal candidate(s) will be extremely organized and self-motivated with the ability to work independently. He/She will also have excellent communication and customer service skills. Maintaining confidentiality and being computer proficient are imperative. He/She must also be comfortable being around multiple individuals on a daily basis. An Associate’s degree and prior experience in a healthcare field are helpful.
