Thomas College invites applications for the position of Title III Program Specialist. Reporting to the Title III Director, the Program Specialist provides support to key project activities in keeping with relevant federal and campus regulations, recruits and assists in administering programming, collects data and maintains files for grant reports, and provides support to the Title III grant staff, and will represent Title III SIP at relevant meetings and campus events.
The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to multi-task effectively. Strong computer skills (especially with word processing, spreadsheet, and database use) and strong organizational and task management skills are critical. The position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to respond effectively to dynamic situations involving students, faculty, and staff. The successful candidate will have experience working with administrative tasks, budget, and publications, as well as experience supporting professional development programs. Experience working with student employees or delivering learning support programming to college/university students is preferred. A bachelor’s degree is required, while a master’s degree is preferred. Ability to work flexible hours is required, as some evenings and weekends may be required.
