Conjuring Carroll Comes to Kennebec Valley Community College's Music at Moody Concert Series

Known to his KVCC classmates as Carroll Chapman, Conjuring Carroll, is a student in KVCC's mental health program and has been delighting and astounding audiences with funny, family-friendly entertainment since 1996.

Using his magic to reflect upon his strong Christian beliefs, Carroll performs gospel shows using his talents to spread his faith through magic and scripture. In addition, Carroll performs what he calls a
"MAG-ricultural" show, a comedic magic show about agriculture specifically for agricultural fairs. He is skilled in balloon art, teaches workshops on magic and balloon twisting, and has showcased his abilities to rave reviews. "I found him to be among the best in terms of professionalism, quality of performance, and entertainment value," said Marcia White, Director of Children's Services, Sugarloaf USA in Carrabassett Valley, Maine. His performance style includes audience participation, comedy bits, and is appropriate for all ages.

Carroll has been a full-time magician since 2002. He is the vice president of the Maine Chapter of the Society of American Magicians.In 2006 he received his "Doctor of Magic" degree from The International Magicians Society.

Tickets to see Conjuring Carroll can be purchased at www.kvcc.me.edu/moody. The event is free with a suggested donation of $10 or nonperishable food items. All money will go directly to the Good Shepherd Food Bank and all donations will go directly to the food cupboard for KVCC
students.
