SAVE YOUR BREATH 5K TIMED RUN ON THE KENNEBEC RAIL TRAIL AND A WALK IN CAPITOL PARK

Free ME form Lung Cancer is hosting the 4th annual Save Your Breath 5K run or walk. The runners will have a scenic morning run along the Kennebec Rail Trail beginning at the YMCA and traveling down to Hallowell and return. The walkers will have a beautiful stroll in Capitol Park. The run will be timed by Back 40 Timing Company. Monetary awards will be given to first, second, and third place men’s group and women’s group.

Doors will open at 7am. A ceremony will begin at 7:45am with the run/walk to follow immediately. The run will take place on the Kennebec River Rail Trail from the Y to Hallowell and return. Capitol Park has been reserved for those who wish to walk.

COST

Online $25.00 children under 13 $12.50
Mail In $30.00 children under 13 $15.00
Event Day $35.00 children under 13 $17.50
Registration closes October 23, 2015
Tee shirts are included if registration is received before closing date of October 22rd.

GROUP DISCOUNT

A group of 10 – Registration will be $23.00 per participant. This will be offered on mail in registrations only and the group must be identified on the form. All 10 registrations must be received no later than October 22nd to qualify. Pledges are welcomed.

All forms can be downloaded from our website at www.freemefromlungcancer.org Please note on registration form that you are with a group of 10 to take advantage of the $23.00 registration.

This will be a fun event for the whole family. Tables will be set up for the Children’s Discovery Museum and Augusta Fire Department for children’s activities. Claire Guy a Reflexologist, Ghost

AWARDS CEREMONY

Mayor Dave Rollins. WMTW News AnchorTracy Sabol and WGME Sports Anchor Dave Eid will present monetary awards to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place men’s group and women’s group.

Snacks will be provided by Texas Roadhouse and Subway Sandwiches.
