In celebration of Earth Science Week, the Maine State Museum presents a fun-filled day of displays and interactive demonstrations focusing on Maine’s geology, energy education, hydrology, archaeology, and mega-mammals from the Ice Age. See how products from the earth contribute to our economy, education, and enjoyment! Scientists, industry professionals, and educators from around the state will demonstrate new and exciting ways that earth science can help future generations meet the challenges of tomorrow.

The Maine State Museum is open Tuesday through Friday 9am-5pm, Saturday 10am-4pm, Closed Sunday and Monday. Admission is $2 for adults; $1 for senior adults over age 62 and children 6-18 years of age; children under 6 free.  Maximum charge for families is $6.  Cash and checks only.
