Mystery for Hire Returns to the Senator Inn Mystery for Hire, one of Maine’s most popular murder mystery dinner theatre troupes, will host another in a series of murder mystery dinner theatre performances at The Senator Inn and Spa in Augusta on Saturday, August 15. The troupe is performing “Bingo Spells Murder,” a script written by well known murder mystery playwright, Bob Mattson, through arrangements with Eldridge Publishing. “The show is headed up by Fr. Patrick O’Sullivan who is trying to save the orphanage from a big city mobster and some pushy real estate agents who want to take over the building for their own profitable purposes,” said Dan Marois, Co-owner of Mystery for Hire. “There’s lots of interesting happenings as the audience members are brought into the action and the guests actually play bingo while solving a crime.” Tickets for the show are $40 per person which includes the mystery show, meal selection, tax and gratuity.
