Rockland Boat ShowIf you love the coast of Maine, you won't want to miss this high-summer event! Each year we gather Maine's finest artists, architects, boatbuilders, craftsmen, designers, furniture makers, jewelers, and marine gear vendors together in ONE place at ONE time, so you can meet them in person.

The entire weekend will be full of exciting and fun events for the whole family, both on the show grounds and in the community. All events on show grounds are FREE with show admission ($12 adults, under 12 free). Prices vary for the community events.

BOSTON WHALER ® RENDEZVOUS

Boston Whaler enthusiasts are encouraged to trailer their beloved boats to Rockland for our first-ever Boston Whaler Rendezvous. There will be ongoing exhibits all weekend — meet other owners, see new models on display, learn restoration techniques — and a Whaler Tales party complete with fun prizes, live jazz/funk music, roast pig, and craft beer (plus vegetarian options and other libations) on Saturday night

Bring your beloved Whaler (of any vintage) to exhibit at the show and receive FREE weekend passes for 4 guests plus a subscription to Maine Boats, Homes & Harbors magazine.

Sponsored by Rock Harbor Brewery and USHarbors.Come to the show by water in your Whaler and receive four free one-day passes to the show.

BBQ and Boston Whaler ® Social: Saturday, August 15, 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm
Limited number of tickets available: $25 per person* includes the barbeque, burritos, beverages, live music, and craft beer. * or $35 per person for one-day show admission, plus the party

For Kids
The show isn't just for adults...bring the kids to the "Kids’ Marine Experience Park" (Tent M), where it's all about creating, exploring, and learning while painting, making nautical crafts, dissecting a squid, making a boat to launch in the model pond, and maybe — just maybe — picking up a live sea creature!

Retrofit Renaissance: The Art of the Refit
This dock will have fine in-water examples of boats that have been revitalized by talented yards and boatbuilders from around the Gulf of Maine.

Live Music
The show is known for its annual presentation of fine and varied live music "on the  bandstand" (conveniently located in Tent C near the food). It's a great place to take a short break, or to meet up with your party. You'll find shelter, chairs to sit in, and best of all, some wonderful performers who will strut their musical stuff just for you. Check our our weekend music lineup here.

Demo Docks: Power and Sail
Back by popular demand, the Demo Docks are where an assortment of fine power and sailing craft will be standing by at the ready for sea trials. Potential boat owners can make an appointment to climb aboard and experience the ride (and Rockland Harbor) first-hand. Located on Dock.

13th Annual World Championship Boatyard Dog® Trials - Sunday, August 16, 10:30 a.m. The excitement is building! The six brave (crazy?) competitors have been chosen for the seriously silly World Championship Boatyard Dog Trials, and they are busy honing their wild and wacky acts to wow the crowd. The 13th annual running of this pawsome event will begin at 10:30 a.m. on the waterfront; gates will open at 9:45. Come cheer on your favorite pooch, but please leave your pets at home, they will not be allowed on show grounds.
