Join The Gardiner Co-op & Cafe for yet another guided farm walk this Saturday. Take a tour of Crooked Door Farm at 205 Gardiner Road in Whitefield. Owned and operated by Suzanne Balbo and Clint Towle, they'll introduce you to their organic vegetable garden, grown with minimal-till practices and the help of a biodiesel tractor; to their American Guinnea Hogs and chickens; and to the flower gardens of Honeysuckle Way. There will be many questions asked and answered, and maybe a sampling of newly-ready tomato varieties. It will surely be pretty!

Meet at the Gardiner Co-op at 10am. The walk will last 1-2 hours. Car pooling is encouraged, if you have spaces available or need a ride contact the Co-op at 629-3663.

Location Meet at the Gardiner Co-op & Cafe, 289 Water St
