Andy Couture is the owner of Sparetime Recreation and the Ground Round Sports Grille in Augusta. He has owned and managed businesses for over 35 years, including a practice as a Certified Public Accountant. As a CPA, his work included taxes, financials, financing and business operations, mainly for startups and businesses in distress. Andy is looking to lend his skills to help businesses grow in Central Maine.
Linda Diou is Chapter Chair for Mid-Maine, Mid-Coast SCORE, offering free business mentoring and she is a member of the Maine Technology Institute Board, providing funding to technology entrepreneurs. Prior to SCORE, Linda managed a biotechnology company achieving: revenue growth of 10-26% year over year for 9 out of 14 years, 20-30% operating income in the last 9 years, led two acquisitions from analysis to due diligence and successful integration. Also received ISO 9001:2000 best practices designation for business and quality metrics and goal setting tied to strategy. Linda enjoys working with small business to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.
Janie Osier-Miller has been providing Human Resource services for over 20 years. Her experience in HR encompasses many industries such as manufacturing, financial, and employment services; the latter where she has been employed for the past 12 years at Maine Staffing Group, as HR/Compliance Manager. Janie is well versed in organizational/operational development, workforce planning, state and federal compliance, policies and procedures development, and more. In fact, she has developed two HR departments from the ground-up. Her educational approach helps lead her internal and external customers down a professional growth path.
Stacey L Morrison, CEO and Owner of Ganneston Construction Corp has owned and managed the only 100% woman-owned general construction company in Maine since 2011, offering general contracting, construction management and design build services for the renovation and new construction of buildings to public and private clients. She has the experience to advise you not only on your building’s needs, but also on operating a successful small business as well. You will find her to offer a breadth of knowledge!
Zachary Nichols is a management trainee focusing in operations at Kennebec Savings Bank in Augusta. He is a recent graduate of the University of Maine where he studied Economics and Finance. Zach is interested in connecting small business owners with new technologies and web resources, getting them started with social media and e-commerce, and helping to launch websites. His recent work related to chip cards and tokenized payments like ApplePay make him an excellent resource to businesses looking for guidance in these areas as well.
