Sally Garand

Sally Garand has 30 years of professional experience as a Commercial Loan Officer. She started her career with KeyBank and Bangor Savings Bank, and now serves in the same capacity at the Finance Authority of Maine (FAME), where she is also Program Administrator for the Maine Rural Development Authority (MRDA).

Sally works directly with Maine’s lending community and with borrowers to help Maine businesses grow, expand and succeed.

Maria MacDougal

Maria joins FAME’s CAFE team with nearly a decade of financial aid experience. She worked in the financial aid office at both the University of Southern Maine and the University of New England, working with online adult learners. She recently earned a Master’s of Education in Adult & Higher Education from the University of Southern Maine. She lives in Portland and in her spare time enjoys dining out, spending time at the beach, reading, guilty-pleasure reality television, live music, and writing about herself in the third-person.

The Chamber's Women's Network meets monthly to strengthen business relationships, hear topical topical speakers and develop leadership. Women's Network, It's all about business and building relationships! This event is usually held on the second Wednesday monthly, excluding July and August. Early Networking begins at 11:30 a.m., buffet lunch at noon, speaker 12:30 and adjourn 1:00 p.m.
