Katie Doherty, President & CEO

Katie 2017Photo by Rene Roy PhotographyKatie has been with the Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce since 2015 as Program Director. Katie came to the Chamber with a strong resume of business operations, management & marketing experience, and a degree from Thomas College. Katie has shown exponential knowledge and charisma that the prospering Kennebec Valley needs.

During her time with the Kennebec Valley Chamber, Katie has been the driving force behind the growth of several events and programs including the Kenney Awards and the annual Business EXPO. She is also responsible for bringing the popular Color Dash 5K to Augusta. A graduate of the Kennebec Leadership Institute, Katie is passionate about her community involvement and encouraging the development of more business leaders in the area.

Promoted to President & CEO in February 2017, Katie is directly responsible for the full range of Chamber activities and programs of work, organizational structure and procedures.  She is also responsible for the growth and maintenance of membership and facilities management.  She works closely with the Board of Directors on long-range planning and goal setting.

Katie resides in South Gardiner with her husband Chris, their daughter Scarlett, and their dog Layla. They enjoy spending time with family and friends and, in the summer months, you can find them on the golf course.

Lindsay Corbett, Office Manager

Lindsay CorbettLindsay was very excited to join the Chamber in February 2018. She is a Thomas College graduate who previously spent 6 years working in higher education, where she started as a front desk receptionist and then was quickly promoted to lead the finance department.

She lives in Gardiner with her wife and two children and is eager to get out in the community and to help grow the Kennebec Valley.

Kayla Tracy, Events & Membership Director

KaylaKayla joined the Chamber in June 2019. Kayla comes to the Chamber with a background in sales and customer service and has a strong passion for community growth and involvement. She is currently finishing up her Bachelor's degree in Communications. Kayla grew up in the Kennebec Valley and currently resides in Winslow. She enjoys the outdoors and everything Maine has to offer.

Amy Gingras, Marketing Coordinator 

Caroline 2017Amy joined the Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce in March 2021.  Amy graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Maine Farmington in 2019 with a degree in Political Science. She has worked for Clark Marine, Maine Department of Transportation, and the University of Maine Farmington, all in a Communications capacity. She lives in Augusta, Maine with her husband, Isaac and her son Ezra. In her free time, Amy enjoys to fly fish and take photos.
