38th Annual Maine Quilts Show — Maine Quilts 2015, Pine Tree Quilters Guild's 38th annual quilt show, will be at the Augusta Civic Center.  Workshops and Lectures with: Frieda Anderson * Karen Dever * Marianne Hatton * Susan Brubaker Knapp * Weeks Ringle and Bill Kerr * Sarah Ann Smith * Molly Waddell * Angela Walters and more. Over 600 quilts - Antique to Contemporary - Judged Division. Special Exhibits: 2014 Hoffman Challenge - Indigo Collection, AQSG 2012 Study of Colonial Revival Quilts from the Early 20th Century, Selections from the Maine State Museum "Puffin: Not Just Black and White" Challenge. Additional Attractions: Merchants Mall * Demonstrations * Quilt Appraisals. Maine Quilts opens on Thursday evening, July 23, with a Champagne Reception and Show Preview from 7 to 9 p.m. It continues Friday, July 24 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with Dinner and Murder at the Quilt Show!!
